Enrollment for returning students closes MARCH 6th, 2026. All returning students must submit an application and a 2026 Physician's Clearance Form by this date. Please review the eligibility guidelines below. Returning students must meet these guidelines- a student may be denied re-enrollment if they do not meet our eligibility requirements. 

Eligibility

Horizons students bring a broad range of academic ability and skills to our program. Students must meet the following eligibility requirements to be enrolled in Horizons:

• Have completed Kindergarten and are at least 5 years of age before the first day of the summer program; are currently in grades K-8th.
• Meet the household income eligibility requirements based on family size and annual income.
• Families will provide the number of persons in the household and annual gross income information in the online application to demonstrate eligibility.
• Students must attend Savannah Chatham County (or adjacent county) public schools. Students that transfer to private schools after initial enrollment in the Horizons program will still be able to participate.
• Students must reside full time in the Chatham, Effingham, and Bryan or other nearby counties at the discretion of the Executive Director.
• Horizons is a part of The Savannah Country Day School and have adopted the policy set forth by the school regarding vaccinations. Our policy requires all students to be age-appropriately immunized with all the required vaccines BEFORE a student can attend our program. We do not accept religious exemptions.

Preference is given to students that have attended previously and their siblings.
