Christy Edwards - Executive Director
Christy is a native of Atlanta, GA. A graduate of the Women’s College at Brenau University, she holds a bachelor's degree in English and a Masters in Education. She is the recipient of the 2015 Horizons National Leadership Award and the 2017 Generation Next Award recognizing Savannah business and philanthropy leaders. She has been the Executive Director of Horizons Savannah since 2011.
Ashley Kendrick - Program Director
Ashley relocated to Savannah in 2013 with the goal of cultivating a life founded on community collaboration, activism, inclusion, and sustainability. A graduate of Towson University and the University of Maryland, she holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications and a Masters of Business Administration. After working in tech/communications for over a decade, Ashley left the corporate world to focus on trauma-informed, yoga and mindfulness studies with a focus on our next generation of youth. Her passion lies in working collaboratively to help create opportunities for all members of our community to thrive. Ashley enjoys yoga, live music, and spending time in nature with her husband and son and their small zoo of animals.
